Student Enrollment Process
 
What should I know about enrolling my child at Collins Academy?
 
  • Enrollment at Collins Academy is selected via a nondiscriminatory annual lottery.
  • Accurately and thoroughly complete all of the information on your application. Please keep in mind that incomplete applications will not be accepted. In order for your application to be considered complete and entered into our lottery, it must be received thoroughly filled out and it must contain all requested documents.
  • All applications must be received by Friday, February 27, 2009 by 3:00pm, thoroughly filled out and containing all requested documents, in order to be accepted.
  • Applications must be sent in by mail or in person. Faxed applications will not be accepted.
  • The annual lottery will take place Friday, March 6, 2009.
  • Applications that are drawn via the lottery will receive an admissions packet with forms to complete to finalize the enrollment process. If the forms are not completed and returned in person or via mail by March 20, 2009 at 3:00pm, our commitment reply deadline, the student will be wait-listed.
  • Applications will be held on file for the current school year.
  • A new application must be filled out for each year for admission.
