Welcome to the Collins Academy Debate Team homepage. As a member of the Chicago Debate League, Collins Academy competes in Policy Debate. In this academically rigorous form of debate, students argue in teams of two in favor of or opposed to a plan to resolve a policy issue. Below is the resolution for the 2008-09 school year:

Resolved: The United States federal government should substantially increase alternative energy incentives in the United States.
