Teacher Training Program
Working with the Academy for Urban School Leadership (AUSL) staff, National-Louis University and the University of Illinois at Chicago professors, and other Academy faculty, Collins Academy High School teachers will train the next generation of Chicago's exceptional small high school teachers. Collins Academy staff will develop the capacity for intensive mentoring through training in cognitive coaching, cycles of inquiry, and best practices. They will also help refine the curriculum, classroom experiences, exit outcomes, and assessments for the training program.
